Undaria pinnatifida is a large brown seaweed that can grow up to three metres long. Naturally resistant to marine pollution, it thrives in a wide variety of environments. It can be found in many coastal and oceanic regions — including the Brittany coastline, close to our laboratory.

This exceptional resistance to environmental stress has allowed the algae to develop numerous cosmetic and medicinal properties.

Often referred to as “sea fern”, Undaria pinnatifida is rich in fibre and antioxidants. A true marine treasure, it offers anti-wrinkle benefits thanks to its high concentration of proteins and vitamins.
