The week has been filled with appointments and meetings, and you’re feeling the need to unwind. Why not treat yourself to a moment of relaxation? There’s no need to go to a spa—just follow this guide to create a spa-like atmosphere at home.
Creating a spa atmosphere
The first step is to disconnect from all electronic devices: phone, tablet, smartwatch, etc. Set aside any distractions to fully enjoy this moment of relaxation.
Once you’re unplugged, create a pleasant ambiance in your bathroom. Music is essential—choose soft melodies or the sounds of nature to help you relax and enter your own bubble of calm.
Enhance the soothing environment with candles, placed around your bath or throughout the room to create a relaxing, tranquil atmosphere.
Taking care of your body
With your home spa ready, it’s time to relax and pamper yourself from head to toe.
1. Hair
This is the perfect time to give your hair some love. You can use Pen Lan Oil over your entire hair, especially on the ends. This delicately scented oil contains 100% natural ingredients, nourishing your hair and hydrating split ends in a single step.
2. Face
Start with a facial steam to open up your pores. Boil the equivalent of two glasses of water, pour it into a large bowl, and place your face above it for a few minutes. After about 10 minutes, your skin will be ready to receive treatments.
Next, exfoliate to cleanse, unclog pores, and gently remove dead skin cells. The Hydra-Fresh Exfoliating Cream is creamy and refreshing, restoring your complexion’s radiance while leaving skin smooth and hydrated.
Finally, apply your usual serum, followed by a moisturizer suited to your skin type.
3. Body
Relax in a warm bubble bath (ideal temperature: 37°C). A hot shower works just as well if you don’t have a bathtub.
Before bathing, apply Draining Body Oil from the Bain Originel range, or add 2 capfuls to your bath. This micellar oil transforms into a milky veil on contact with water and contains essential oils such as geranium, lemon, and cedar to support cell regeneration, moisturize, and firm the skin—a refreshing and revitalizing cocktail.
Use the heat and steam to exfoliate your body. Scrub Littoral combines sea salts and essential oils to gently exfoliate and supply your skin with essential minerals and trace elements. Massage gently, then rinse and pat dry.
Finish with Lait du Jardin Marin to moisturize and nourish the skin without leaving a sticky residue, leaving a delicate fragrance. Your skin will feel soft, smooth, and supple.
Enjoy a moment of relaxation at home. Creating your own spa allows you to reconnect with yourself, care for your body and mind, and indulge in pure pampering. A warm bath, calming ambiance, and gentle self-care—nothing compares to treating yourself at home!
