How about a little facial gymnastics?

How about a little facial gymnastics?

The passing of days, unhealthy lifestyles (alcohol, tobacco, diet), pollution and unsuitable beauty treatments all take their toll on the face. Skin loses its elasticity, wrinkles appear and muscles become less toned. Self-massaging the face is a good way to make it firmer and more radiant.

Facial gymnastics: the benefits

There's no age limit to taking care of your body, and particularly your face. As an accompaniment to cosmetics and beauty rituals, self-massage massage is a good ally.

Facial gymnastics are designed to tone and firm the skin by muscling the face. Finger movements relieve congestion and stimulate lymphatic drainage, revitalizing the complexion. By working the various zones regularly, you'll tone your skin and enhance your complexion's radiance. Because, yes, the face also loses elasticity and tone over time! So it's essential to pamper it, and self-massage is an ideal natural method.

By stimulating the muscles, this practice prevents the appearance of wrinkles and stimulates microcirculation.

After just a few weeks of regular exercise, the face regains its firmness and luminosity.

7 exercises to tone the face

Facial fitness is performed gently using your fingers :

  • To strengthen the muscles around the eyes, known as the orbicularis muscles,
  • and firm the masseter muscles around the mouth.

Different parts of the face can be stimulated: forehead, eyes, cheeks and mouth. By sitting in front of a mirror, you can observe your movements and correct them if necessary. Here are a few simple exercises.

Tip: apply a facial oil or cream to make your skin more supple.
